LuRain Penny sings sad love songs cuz she carrying around in her heart a flame for some jerk left along the way.
She was born after the century had turned a bit – lived through depression (hers and the world’s), alcoholism and drugs – to become one of the longest cabaret performers in NYC by the 1980’s; opening for Ray Charles, Taj Mahal and Dr. Billie Taylor.
Presently she is dictating her autobiography -
MAINTENANCE DRINKER IN THE NEW AGE
and giving voice to her opinions on the virtual world -

Codifyer means to put in order. Hammurabi is celebrated as the first codifier of Law.
It is also a play on my name – torches all round.
